You're not saying "These stereotypes harm everyone" you're saying "I don't believe your story."
Don't think you're the warrior against gender stereotypes you think you are when suggesting your kid is as trans as theirs.

Which is fine- people are allowed questions and doubts. But don't present it as striking a blow against stereotypes.
