Me too! The bailout was very poorly carried out. Should have included big infrastructure projects. Still angry they were scuttled.

I agree w. left goals, but you need to build a broad based coalition to sustain them. People hated ObamaCare bc Fox told them to.

I think, if we disagree, it's on whether Dem politicians share left goals but were stymied, or don't share them at all.

My working assumptiom is that most Dems are more in tune with donors than voters, and donors have rich people's priorities.

that's a problem w the whole campaign finance system. Dems can't afford to turn their backs on it. Honestly, I don't see a way out rn

I don't either, but I reject calls to just be quiet and support Dems because they're not Trump.
