Sending ones kids to a private school in the US is a morally feeble thing to do
Lived in Knoxville for 3 years. In TN, many parents' choice is between supporting public school and educating their children.

Of course this is devastating to the kids whose parents can't afford private school, but if it was my child, I can't say what I'd do.

Imagine if all the private school families invested in the public schools with the money the spend on private ones.
