@v_urq You get where they are coming from right? Gender ID is about core sense of self - skepticism about ID is seen as attack on core self

@transphilosophr I just reckon that if I'm going to have a gender id, especially one not cis, it would be nice to know what I mean by that.

@v_urq For me I don't "identify as a woman" - I identify as a trans woman, which can be given a precise definition (rejecting AMAB)

@transphilosophr So far, I've gotten this far only: I identify as a trans man because I am transitioning.

@v_urq If that's how you want to define your transness I think that's perfectly valid. Just remember not all trans people ever transition
