      @v_urq You get where they are coming from right? Gender ID is about core sense of self - skepticism about ID is seen as attack on core self

      @v_urq For me I don't "identify as a woman" - I identify as a trans woman, which can be given a precise definition (rejecting AMAB)

          @v_urq I'd say: My current gender is "trans woman". My assigned gender is "male". They are different. So I am trans by definition

          @v_urq For me "trans woman" indicates the *direction* of my transition not necessarily the endpoint of the identity process
