@v_urq I read your article in Slate RE gender and racial identity. I appreciate your effort, but your conclusion still seems unsupportable.
@brandendurst Fair enough. As I wrote, I believe it makes a difference whether transgender people are or aren't born with that tendency.

@brandendurst But, if not, then I'd agree that the two types of cases are difficult and maybe even impossible to distinguish. -
@v_urq I also know of parents w/ adopted kids that don't share their race. Those kids identify more with their parents' race than their own.

@v_urq I think that is a good point. As a parent of boys and a girl, I can say that my daughter has always acted different from her brothers -
