I know more about this than you do, having come out the other side of it. My trans lady partner thinks you don’t know what you’re talking about and are doing women like her a disservice by ignoring anything that criticizes the current model.

There have been numerous studies of trans care that showed a less than 1% regret/detransition rate, centered around AMABs who returned to the closet due to stigma. A few have shown something a bit higher, 1-5% or so.

While these are each, individually, imperfect studies, taken together it's unreasonable to expect a new study will find huge uncounted numbers of detransitioners.

And there's.something called sampling bias.

Especially when the research is being done by someone who will benefit from "positive" results. It's a known fact that journals don't publish negative results. It's a known fact that you can't see your own errors and one sentence saying there are no conflicts doesn't correct bias
