Trans women are trans women Trans people can play sports (based on sex) A person does not change sex, they alter some hormones and some people alter their physical features. That's just the way it is. If it wasn't true, you wouldn't need medication and surgeries.

Not how it works. Trans people are fully capable of changing sex by way of HRT, and trans women - just like any other group of women - should be allowed to compete in the women's category of sport (so long as they're on HRT.) "That's just the way it is" is not an argument.

Current transition science doesn’t even have trans women on the multiple hormones that exist in flux in the natal female reproductive system

Is that so? Estrogen & progesterone are the norm for HRT, & domperidone can be taken to increase prolactin levels. LH + FSH aren't necessary as their main effect of stimulating E + progesterone production would be redundant. Besides LH & FSH, it's the same as in cis women

So yeah, maybe you shouldn't speak so authoritatively on stuff you don't have much knowledge of. Perhaps instead of spending so much time fighting against trans healthcare, you should try to learn a few things from trans women

I know more about this than you do, having come out the other side of it. My trans lady partner thinks you don’t know what you’re talking about and are doing women like her a disservice by ignoring anything that criticizes the current model.

You really, really don't, and you've displayed your ignorance this entire time. Being detrans doesn't give you any more insight about trans people than "ex-gays" have about gay people If you started listening to trans ppl & actual experts, you'd be much better informed 1/2

I’m not anti-trans. I’m deeply concerned that the current treatment model isn’t working. Why is this fine? Why can’t we do more to help trans patients? If studying detransition is harmful to trans activism, something is off. Detransition cases teach us important things abt this

Have you really fully considered the possibility that it is working, the main issue is many people who need treatment still aren't getting it, and you were just unlucky and/or made a mistake?

A medical procedure shouldn't be the mistake of the patient when the doctors should verify medical necessity.

All diagnoses have a false positive rate.
