Getting Twitter's "Want to read the article first?" prompt on stories that I wrote will never stop being funny. (Although for the record I think the prompt is a good idea.)
As a writer I'm not a fan, bc the more you're enjoying reading a long, well thought out, well written and reported article the more likely you are to forget you meant to share it afterwards. It's penalizing writers who do the best job most.

I’m certainly not in favor of Twitter making it impossible to tweet a story that (they think you) haven’t read. But I think it’s a helpful nudge. “Hey, maybe you should make sure this story you’re sharing actually says what the tweet says it does.”
