I could make a lot of money being the trans-skeptical trans guy. If there's ever evidence to support a high detransition rate centered on AFABs I will write the stories and cash the checks.

...some part of you doesn't feel like you have all that much in common with stories from trans people, I'd explore the possibility that this is OCD and perhaps start by addressing the intrusive thoughts through OCD treatment, rather than pursuing transition.
Other than that, obv anyone who experiences psychotic symptoms would want to be careful and rely on trusted professionals. Some people with unrealistic expectations are really unhappy when post-transition they don't have cis bodies. Those are the big ones, to my knowledge.
