Best I can tell (and I haven't looked into them as extensively), the numbers on cosmetic surgery are even sketchier than the numbers on detransition. You get some *HUGE* numbers, like 2/3 regret... and that feels like it couldn't possibly be accurate.
On interesting tidbit in my (admittedly shallow) research there was that some plastic surgeons claim that around half their business is in undoing or correcting previous plastic surgery.

Now, again half seems high to me... but if detransition was common we'd see reversals that showing up in transition surgeon's practice, and I haven't found anything of the kind.

I'm not sure "reversals"- (how do you reverse a hysterectomy, penectomy or orchiectomy?) are covered by insurance? Detransition is not a recognized diagnosis? Breast reconstruction can be done but there is no restoration of mammary ducts.
