The 2015 US Transgender Survey was the source I would have cited as well (ty @menysnoweballes!). While not perfect (I wouldn't necessarily cite the exact percentages without hedging) I think it provides strong evidence for my #4.

I use 'transandrophobia' to describe the unique combination of misogyny and transphobia that only trans men face. It is different from general transphobia bc its targets are trans men alone (often referred to as 'girls' by the transphobe). 1/2

I'd also add the parallels with (male) homophobia, in terms of "not being man enough" or being "effeminate. There's a huge intersection of a whole heap of different elements of masculinity at it's most toxic right there.
