In the end, obviously, I was able to dig deep and get something down on the page. Which felt good. I didn't go into the complexities of the eugenics metaphor and trans men, though. I'm saving that for a future piece.

For now, I'll just say that concern trolling about trans men's fertility is invasive, offensive, gross, and could even set dangerous precedents for the rights of cis women to make reproductive choices conservatives disagree with in future.

Reading those things they say about trans men can be upsetting for me and I find I need to measure out how much of it I see. I have very complicated feelings about having kids, but I’ve already gone through it pre-transition.
