This kind of died down yesterday but I don't understand the position that it's absurd and conspiratorial to think the organizers of the full fascism CPAC would slip a Nazi reference into the stage design

Every two months there's a story about how one of these guys has an account called WesternWhiteGlory1488 on a message board called AryanArchitectureForum

I said this in the Slate comments, but the burden of proof should be with CPAC. Human beings designed and built a very unique, non-rectangular stage. They had reasons for doing so. In order to be persuaded it's not for Naziism, we should know their names and hear those reasons.

In the ABSENCE of such information, the Occam's razor approach is to assume this is the Odal rune and it was used bc of it's Nazi connection.

If there were supposed to be two huge planters of petunias in those rectangular cut outs, but the vendor lost their crop to a freak tornado, simply show us the records and the conceptual drawing of how it would have looked nothing like the Odal rune if they'd had those planters.
