I'm not asking cis folks to shun every person in your life who views fellow human beings as inferior and disposable. I AM asking you not to be smug about your friendship with these people, as if it's an act of virtue rather than messy social necessity/convenience.
I do not hold myself to any hard purity standards in friendship, acquaintanceship, or commerce. I'm too poor and too lonely to do so. However, I don't expect pats on the back for it, and I humbly submit that you shouldn't either.
