Never seriously, but I admit I have fantasized about going conservative as a writer and being set for life.
£10k is more than $10K, right? I'd say that $25K feels about the right level, though I don't want to tip my bargaining hand if I can get more.

A bit more, sterling isn’t as strong or as stable as it once was but I think you should see Europe as lots of different cash raising opportunities. You’ll just need a slight change to the story and imagination with facial hair styling.
