So funny to me that irl people think of me as their far left friend, while on here I may qualify as being a centimeter to the left of a liberal, on a good day, maybe.

Maybe I’m too skeptical of idealism, but these are all extremely sensible positions!
I have a real fondness for idealism- I think it's the one thing that causes positive change to actually happen- but constitutionally I'm just too skeptical/practical to go all in. I hope that's needed as well, to make sure idealists stay in the real world.
