This is such a weird one. In order to hold a snowball (so you can, say, hold a flame up to it) you experience first that it's cold and second that it makes your hand wet with water so like... what sort of brain reaches to introduce a lighter to prove it's made of water?
Next they will get in a bathtub full of snow, feel the cold wetness, and drop a live toaster in there with them to see if its real.
