Glinner acting like he's the first man on the HER app: Dude. I'm a man who's had an account on HER long before you knew what HER even was.

As always trans men don't fit into their little plans. My HER profile says basically: Hey, I'm a trans man! Not trying to step on anyone's toes, but I prefer dating within the queer community so hmu if you date men and if not, no worries, hope you find who you're looking for!

I've genuinely never had anything but a positive and friendly reception. I'm currently taking a break from dating to heal and regroup after some personal struggles, but HER is a great app with chill vibes and I'll be back there soon, no doubt.

I don't discriminate against straight cis women, but they DO discriminate against me, so using a queer app feels more natural, even as a straight guy. I'm not hung up on the pronoun in the app title either. It's a space I tread lightly in, recognizing it's not primarily for me.

This is a tangent, but my dating preferences changed more than I could have imagined when I was in my 30s. I used to be afraid of aging out of dating 20-somethings. Now it's women over 35, preferably w/ kids. They're in my life stage and have priorities that feel like they fit.

(I don't EXCLUSIVELY date women, in a "never say never" kind of way, but I've been bicurious since I was 16 and at some point I feel like I had to acknowledge that the curiousity must not be that strong if I'd never acted on it in all this time.)

Still open to adventure! Still game for whatever comes my way! Still in practical reality not that attracted to non-women type humans as far as I can tell!
