I don't discriminate against straight cis women, but they DO discriminate against me, so using a queer app feels more natural, even as a straight guy. I'm not hung up on the pronoun in the app title either. It's a space I tread lightly in, recognizing it's not primarily for me.

This is a tangent, but my dating preferences changed more than I could have imagined when I was in my 30s. I used to be afraid of aging out of dating 20-somethings. Now it's women over 35, preferably w/ kids. They're in my life stage and have priorities that feel like they fit.

(I don't EXCLUSIVELY date women, in a "never say never" kind of way, but I've been bicurious since I was 16 and at some point I feel like I had to acknowledge that the curiousity must not be that strong if I'd never acted on it in all this time.)
