I strongly believe that cis women who produce naturally high level of testosterone deserve our strongest and most unreserved support, and that advancing trans rights at their expense is both unnecessary and wrong.

Anyone w naturally high T who was brought up as a girl and never considered themselves to be otherwise needs a carve out from anything to do with regulating testosterone levels in women's sports. They're naturally gifted, as are all athletes. We should celebrate them!

Look, I'm 5'2" and uncoordinated. I wish I could compete on even the most casual tennis court or pick up game without embarrassment, but I can't. Sports isn't about leveling the playing field so people with natural gifts are brought down to the level of more average athletes.

The specific history of women's exclusion from sports led to our having segregated women's sports divisions as a remedy. It is, in my opinion, an imperfect remedy, but I don't think the perfect should be the enemy of the good here.

That history, and the remedy found, interacts with trans bodies and identities in a way that gets a little complicated. But, it's not impossible to come up with ways to resolve this that balance everyone's interests and promote fair inclusion for everyone.
