This is actually the sort of transphobe I've been able to get the most traction in changing. Their assumptions about the intelligence and arguments on the pro-trans side are so low that a well informed, well argued trans person can sometimes snap them out of it.
Sometimes, and sometimes not, of course. The dumber ones can't follow you well enough to understand they've been rebutted.
