It's just the funniest thing to me that in 2021 radical feminism wound up on the side of misinformed conservative outrage over activists demanding gender neutral language changes. You've come a long way, Ms.

I am both amused and horrified that "radical feminists" charge trans people with invading/co-opting feminism and perverting it into something that reinforces patriarchy when that is exactly what they're doing! Especially when they team up with the Right.

I think the fairest thing you can say is that the hypothesis that trans acceptance would reinforce patriarchy and it's alternate that transphobia would reinforce patriarchy have been thoroughly tested, and we can now conclusively say that the alternate was correct.

Oh, man. This is a complex one. There are micro and macro levels. The micro level Ky referenced here was that specific trans excluding radical feminists have made alliances far right religious extremists and are now funded by them.

The macro level is kindof a winding path, but in a nutshell transphobes tend to argue that trans women are predators because males are inherently predatory, and cis women need to be protected from them because they're inherently the weaker sex.

We wind up in this biological determinist/essentialist position that is the justification for patriarchy. Women are victims, men are predators, this can never change and the most we can do is protect women by hiding them away in women-only spaces.
