Sticking my neck out here: if men/women/trans can have breast cancer, why can't lactation be referred to as breast feeding?
It can be. I'm a trans man, and I've never particularly liked euphemistic language. But for some words like breasts, vagina, or clitoris feel uncomfortable when used to describe their body. And, it doesn't hurt anyone to be aware & use euphemisms for people who request them.

yup seconding this. we aren’t pushing for a “the transboy-version of breast is chest” one size fits all thing. there will be guys, cis and trans, who are fine talking about their breasts in these contexts. hell if a woman wants to stick to “chest” exclusively good on her!

It’s all about options. Reactionaries get so mad about this stuff but when you’re talking about *your* body to *your* doctors why the fuck shouldn’t it be tailored individually to your body and preferences?
