Their essentialist view of women as submissive perpetual victims doesn't allow for the possibility that a person with a vagina could make a coarse joke.
I don't envy trans women being hyper visible and treated as monsters, believe me. But, as a trans man, I can't even speak out for my own rights without it being assumed it's coming from them. I don't even have a voice when I have a viral tweet thread.
