It seems weird to write that much about where anti-racism is going wrong w/o mentioning police violence and incarceration. I don't necessarily disagree with everything but it seems like, for McWhorter, the sideshow is the show.
Now, maybe the side show is the show for too many people, but I'd want that mentioned up top. Leaving the real issues out of the discussion seems weird.
