Chyna was a cis woman, but something about her role as a big, muscular female pro-wrestler who wrestled men resonated deeply with me as a trans man. The 'feeling of being Chyna' was me, 5'2", pre-T, not passing, realizing I was trans.
Seeing Gabbi Tuft come out as a trans woman has a similar, though weaker, resonance. I wish her so much happiness and success.
