Another way sexism and transphobia combines to target trans men and transmascs is the term "transtrenders" and NB phobia more broadly.

I've got to ask, what does this new term imply?
Trenders are "fake" trans people, almost always non-passing teenage trans men/AFAB NBs, and usually ones who present femme.

Trans male communities often have a lot of accusations that certain people are just trenders and making the real trans men look bad. Sometimes trans women join in, but the worst offenders are binary trans men.

Thanks, I can't keep up with the terminology (and I'm ftm). I assume all this will fade over the years. I'm old enough to think creating more division via 'terms' is at very least unhelpful.
