I know you did, which is why it's a great opportunity to talk about the difference between gun safety/anti-violence activism and transphobic activists, who obsess about the flashy non-problem in a way that hurts real victims by confusing the public.
If you cared about women you'd find a way to channel transphobic public energy into policies that help women in their homes and families- like gun-safety and anti-gun-violence activists do. It's a great example of how you could be good, but choose not to be.
