The problem with using TME isn't that trans men can't have internalized transphobia and project that on to trans women. It's that this goes both ways- trans women can and do have internalized transphobia/sexism and project it on to trans men.
I think anyone who's been around online trans communities will remember times when trans women came along who insulted trans men as overly emotional/sensitive or otherwise inferior due to our AGAB.
But there's a big difference between recognizing that some trans women have an issue with internalized sexism and transphobia that they direct at trans men and claiming that trans women as a whole have some sort of privilege that leads them to this sort of thing.
