Black women often talk about being singled out for mockery based on traits that are perceived as masculine. White people are way worse at gendering Black people than they are whites, and they're more likely to consider calling the police.
When these transphobes claim that butches are never really misgendered because people can always tell, that's a racism thing as well as a transphobia thing.
If you're a white butch woman (or a white AFAB who presents masculine) and you've never had an issue using a woman's restroom, don't assume your experience is universal. Women of color, particularly Black women, have a very different experience.
