The US Transgender Survey found 51% of trans men and 58% of AFAB NBs experienced rape. Transphobes exploit that, encouraging victims to channel anger & hatred. But trans men let em do it. We're too afraid of being feminized to organize around services needed by over half of us.
We need to "come get" transmasc victims of rape, bullying, abuse, post-surgery PTSD, and domestic violence before the TERFs and detransitioners can radicalize them.
And- this should go without saying but in case any terves are watching- Of course we need to do this in a way that allows questioning, pausing, or ceasing transition as a perfectly natural, acceptable possibility that doesn't result in a withdrawal of services or support.
