I seethe at the dialogue about blockers and hormones for kids bc of all the psych meds I was on as a kid. Trans medical care is slower, more careful, and more evidence based than the norm. Could it be better? Maybe, who knows? But if you're not worried about 16 yr olds being prescribed Risperdal or Abilify or Depakote (because you don't know, bc this isn't about kids or meds its about transphobia), then we have nothing to say to each other.
And by "worried" I don't mean you'll give lip service to the issues when I bring it up. I want to see your twitter history of harassing psychiatrists, parents, and patients over best guesses w/ imperfect evidence, done in the hopes of saving or improving lives.
