I've written a lot about butch lesbians. My first viral piece was about being a butch lesbian (before I let myself find out what testosterone does to female bodies, ruining my ability to deny that I was trans). I still have so much love for butch lesbians, and so much respect.
When I say I'd never want to convince a butch lesbian to be trans, I really mean it. Butch lesbians are amazing. Many of my heroes are butch. Its ok not to be a butch lesbian. I'm not one. But, man, if you are one, that is fucking great. Don't ever change.
