I've got that "so-and-so declined to be interviewed on the record and, when offered the opportunity to dispute specific facts on background, further declined to do so" kind of journalism-y feeling. It's a feeling like you have someone dead to rights, and they know it.
Surely you'll appreciate that I've come under harsher criticism from the same community I believe words like "delusional" have even been used? And yet, I'd gladly listen to their point of view. Why wouldn't I expect that they would be equally willing to engage with me?
