They did mention other stupid things Rowling said. I know the TERFs all insisting they would *totally* have been "transed" is pretty vile, and illustrates just how uneducated Rowling is on the subject, but there were worse parts of the essay.
I respectfully disagree that attacking trans men's agency and choices is less bad than other forms of transphobia.
