I was disappointed that you failed to mention Rowlings statements about trans men, including musing that she might have been trans if she'd been born later. It's central to her essay, her fear, and her worldview that trans men are girls in need of protection from themselves.

I know a single essay can never include every little thing, but this is at the very heart of the matter. If you don't understand Rowling's beliefs about trans men and fears that she herself might have been trans you don't understand her.

I don't actually think thats something JKR thinks/cares about at all Its a talking point of terfs to claim that they also get what you're gonig through ie depression, and they made it out by "reading books like a normal person" as JKR put it in her essay
