Early onset puberty is totally different to gd. Children younger than 8 are prescribed pb's but they are stopped in time to allow natural puberty to proceed. Blockers are used in gd to stop puberty happening at all, therein lies the problem as its an important time for a child/1
There's no evidence that the rate of detransition has increased. The rate of desistance has been decreasing for decades as guidelines for the diagnosis have improved. What would checking out a subreddit do? (Btw, most detransitioners go on to retransition.)

Now, mind you, the number of people who detransition has almost certainly increased- because the number of people who transition has increased with better treatment and more public knowledge. It's the rate that matters. 1% of 10 mil is more than 1% of 10 thou, but it's still 1%.
