The dangers are more than psychological. There can be a cancer causing the precocious puberty. The growth plates can fuse, leaving the child abnormally short.
What's your evidence that it stunts cognitive development? And, if the drug doesn't have any causal relationship to kids being trans what's the reason for preventing it being used? Why not focus on whatever is "making them be trans"?

The reason for preventing use of blockers in teens is that they are harmful to physical health, they don't alleviate dysphoria, and they don't help distressed teenagers mental health. -
So if- not saying this is so but just if- there were to be evidence that they aren't harmful to physical health, do alleviate dysphoria, and do help mental health then we would agree they should be used?
