I'd be very interested in an article that reckoned with complexities. The rate of ineffectiveness, regret, or excessive side effects is similar compared to other treatments. Should trans healthcare be held to a higher standard, and what is the rationale if so?

I fear the rate of regret is poised to skyrocket in the wake of a tidal wave of youth “treatment” in the last 5 years. Keira bell is the tip of the iceberg. sure hope I’m wrong tho.

With respect, I've been hearing this for years. "The rate of regret is going to skyrocket any minute!" When the rate of regret does skyrocket, I will be the first to acknowledge A) I was wrong to predict it wouldn't and B) changes should be made to lower it to, say, 3% or below.

But until this long predicted skyrocket actually happens in the real world, you must forgive me for basing my opinions on real world evidence rather than ideologically influenced beliefs.
