It's scary because every day we're fighting for the respect of being seen as men, and so it's easier to sort of act like "oh, these girls the TERFs are talking about protecting are this unrelated group of people, not us."

We can't keep doing that bc it plays into their hands. They get to posit these theoretical "girls" who need the LGB alliance or whoever to save them. These "girls" they want to save are just trans men. There's no other class of transitioning female-bodied people, apart from us.

Funny how it's "protect the girls" and "ew grown ass men", but conveniently they forget the young trans girls (no need for protection?) and grown ass trans men (not startling when a trans man in full beard walks into your toilet, ig?) who transition later in their lives.
