There's a trans guy on this website who's being quite tweeted with anger and scorn, and while those feelings are justified he literally talks in his thread about how much he's struggling and needs support. So, for your consideration: What if we just not?

There's really no need to amplify his thoughts about nonbinary people at all. I dont like the fact that hurt often comes out in the form of lashing out, but it does. I'm not saying you should reach out and offer support, but you could also not pile on.

I'm wondering why we're obligated to extend sympathy to a trans man using talking points even TERFs are agreeing with and jumping onto to justify transmisogyny

Like I've seen trans men lash out against trans women using these same talking points of "not feeling welcome in their own community" and be rightfully criticized for it, but because this is broadly about nb folk we just have to...let it go? Nah.

I don't think it's fair to say I wouldn't say the same thing if the lashing out was directed at trans women. That's coming from you, not me.

I'm just saying, you should probably ask yourself why you feel sympathetic who quite literally nb folk as not belonging in trans spaces and even characterizes many nb folk as "trenders"/cis people pretending to be trans, and why you think others should feel the same.
