My auto-moderator hates swears. It catches so many swears, and variations of swears! Meanwhile, our writers curse, our pundits curse, our president curses. Our commenters, quite reasonably, want to be able to curse and quote others cursing.

As the comment moderation guy, I care little about swearing. But the dumb software is little more than a curse-word-finding machine, so I spend my days looking at comments with different numbers of stars blanking out curse words.
