Glad to see the story of the Atlantic cover photo that misgendered its subject finally coming out.
Misgendering of the cover model was bad enough, but I don't want to lose sight of the way that headline also implicitly took the position that all trans men can be called "she" and are people's "daughters." It was a deeply fucked up part of a deeply fucked up article.
