I'm watching The Legend of Korra and it's very... pro-authoritarian, anti-anarchist propaganda? I'm not an anarachist but even I know society isn't going to completely fall apart with everyone killing each other in a bloody free for all day one after removing a corrupt monarch.
Maybe there's a better message coming, but right now it seems to be "however evil and corrupt leaders are we need them, bc the worst leadership is better than no leadership".
I've also been growing more and more aware of the constant pro-police propaganda we're subject to in basically every tv show and movie, and it's getting less and less palatable. Toph becoming a cop is a betrayal of the character.
Ok, so apparently Toph the cop is a hermit in the woods now. Apparently even the pro-cop writing couldn't cop-ify her in the present.
