Respecting your pain, but as someone who cares, I think you're making a mistake, now. People didn't know the truth, they were transphobes. If you even know the truth now you were one of a tiny percentage of people whose dysphoria was misdiagnosed or resisted treatment.
I don't see why one would forgo an effective medical treatment, certainly not for something as severe and pervasive as GD. You can live with a broken arm, but we dont act like you should. No treatment is 100%. You don't avoid giving a baby penicillin bc she might be allergic.

What? You engaged with me! If there's something wrong w the reasoning, let's hear it. But if the treatment didn't work for you I'm sorry but it doesn't change the overall medical judgment. I was quite worried about testosterone not working for me, pre-transition. It happens.
