I was married before I transitioned and still am, in case that helps clarify this for you.

You don't think it slightly undermines the idea that lesbians transition to become straight men/date straight women that I was gay married first, transitioned second?

There are straight married middle aged ftms. But, I already fit into society- I was in my 30s, married, had the same job I have now, etc. To the extent there were life effects, they were negative, but I wouldn't want to overstate that side of things.

I mean, I know at least one such person? It's not as rare as you think.

I mean, I don't know that many people. I've also seen it come up on the FTM subreddit, etc. Like trans women, it often breaks up the married. (My marriage was also almost broken up by my transition.) I just think your opinions are based on prejudice, not facts.

You FEEL like straight-married trans men wouldn't come out later in life very often. And, because trans men tend to be invisible, you don't read a lot of stories about it happening, which you take as confirmation.
