It’s remarkable how many of these questions are real softballs, e.g., 'do you find John Lewis impressive?' That’s about on the same level as Hannity’s 'what do you have planned for your 2nd term?'

A chipmunk could get Trump to say something revealingly clueless and depraved, and a once-in-a-generation interview talent couldn't change the dynamic where he says something shocking, we move on, he says something shocking again, we move on, etc.
