I've been called an activist and a TRA. 1. I am not a member of any activist group. 2. I've never donated to any trans group, activist or otherwise. 3. I've never done any political organizing for trans rights.
Not that there's anything wrong with activism! I probably SHOULD donate to more trans causes, heck. But there's no reasonable definition of activist that would include me. I tweet about my experience and my opinions, and I'm trans. But for them that's all it takes.
