My personal hobby horse is this: XX =/= safe, quiet, timid, or tame. Whether it's my rapist (who had two X chromosomes) or trans men standing up for ourselves against transphobes, XX =/= safety. Fuck your essentialism.

I think you're mistaking my original thoughts as some sort of brainwashing, because you don't respect trans men enough to imagine we can think independently. And I think that's because you think I'm a woman, and on some level you must not believe women can think for themselves.

This is the "self hatred" that TERFs believe trans men embody. I don't hate myself, or women. But I think maybe you do, if you think people with two XX chromosomes can't have independent opinions.
